Pictured below are but a few of the Cherokee County Master Gardeners who attended the Spring 2009 Master Gardeners Day at Redbud Lane Nursery.  Twice a year the greenhouses are opened to these avid gardeners and they have the best time picking their way through the greenhouses.  Our resident Master Gardener, Janis, coordinates and manages both the Spring and the Fall events and enjoys the opportunity for her gardening friends to visit the nursery.  We love Master Gardeners!

     We love hosting special events at Redbud Lane Nursery.  Pictured below are some good folks who attended our 2009 Spring Open House for all of our wholesale customers.  Everyone was treated to a 2-hour tour of all the greenhouses to get a sneak peak at the plants we will be offering this season.  Attendees were given a goody bag full of fun & interesting items and garden center in attendance was awarded a door prize ranging from Redbud Lane caps & aprons to free plants.  An enormously good time was had by all and this will be an annual event in early March from now on.

     Pictured below, Nathan King of the Ball Horticultural Company leads a discussion on new introductions at our Spring 2007 Open House & Seminar.  Below that is a picture of Assistant Manager Brian Bell chatting with Terri Howe, also of the Ball Horticultural Company and representing PanAmerican Seed.  A large percentage of the annuals we grow each season are developed by Ball Horticultural Company and the Simply Beautiful.  We also grow a significant amount of material purchased from Randy Uhl of Michell Seed including the unique Bodger Botanical plants and worlds of other unusual but super-cool plants.  Another major producer we favor enormously is EuroAmerican Propagators who provide the Proven Winners line and tons of other out-of-the-ordinary plants you love so much.
